Jim Griffin (sitar) and I (tabla), following a potluck Indian dinner, gave a short Hindustani music recital last night in the company of friends at Lindsay London’s house.

Jim Griffin and I were invited to play sitar and tabla for the opening of the Art of India Exhibit at the Amarillo Museum of Art on March 7th, 2009. Here are some pictures of the event taken by J Sanders.

Thanks to everyone who attended this event and made it a success! We are grateful to have artists of this caliber visit and perform in Amarillo.
Amarillo College, in collaboration with The Amarillo Jazz Society,  is hosting jazz and world music guitarist, bassist and UNT jazz professor Fred Hamilton.
